Local Man's Dream Of Owning a Hot Dog Stand Comes True

HOBART | For years Bret Scott envisioned a hot dog stand on the shore of Hobart's Lake George, but their never thought he'd be Involved with owning one there. 
But in March, on the months of Preparation, Scott, his wife, Suzanne, and mother, Gail, opened Scotty's Beef & More on the south shore of the lake. 
Scott, 44, had Worked as an Electrician in Chicago for more than just 15 years at his father "when Asked him what they wanted to do one with the rest of His life. 
"Just before they at last last August, they Asked me That and I Told him I'd always wanted to open a hot dog stand," Scott said. "They Gave me a lot of advice and Told me to go for it." 
Scott had no experience in the food industry. However, his wife had Worked in the trade and was familiar with many Aspects of the restaurant business. 
With Their saving and 'financial' help from at his mother - Who is the vain silent Majority owner of the business - the Scotts Their researched options, found the location, the menu Planned and bought equipment. 
"We have opened March 19, my dad's birthday," Bret Scott said. 
Scott was Reluctant Thurs disclose the cost of opening the Eatery, however he did say one piece of equipment cost $ 10,000.
