KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14 (Bernama) - An Earthquake Measuring 7.2 on the Richter Scale occurred south of the Mariana Islands in the western Pacific Ocean at 5.20am today, According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
Said it the epicentre of the quake was 1.484 kilometers northeast of Davao in the Philippines and 2.703 km northeast of Lahad Datu in Sabah.
The department Said No tsunami warning was issued following the strong quake.
