Tributes to Our Boys on VJ Day

PM David Cameron, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall joined ex-servicemen Thurs commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Victory over Japan.


The Veterans, Their Many wearing campaign medals, Came together in White Hall Thurs reunite with long-lost comrades and ACKNOWLEDGE the Thousands Not Ken did make it back.
The afternoon service at the Cenotaph was Intended to remember the Efforts of the Hundreds of Thousands of heroes Ken still work in harsh conditions on overseas.
Tributes were paid to the Also Nearly 30.000 British losses suffered Far East During the campaign, some of whom at last 12.500 while Prisoners of war.
Members of the public Also lined the north side of the Cenotaph to Pay Their respects.
The half-hour service was Organised by the Ministry of Defence with the Burma Star Association.
