The U.S. News and World Report Best Colleges 2011 list has Been released, with Brown University in Providence, RI making it into the top 20 in the National Universities ranking list. Brown University Tied for the number 15 spot with Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
Harvard University ranked in first place in this year's list, pushing Princeton University into second place. Harvard and Princeton Tied for first place in last year's report.
Further down the list of top National Universities was girls on Rhode Island institution, The University of Rhode Island - it ranked 167th on the U.S. News Best Colleges 2011 list.
For the Best Colleges 2011 edition, U.S. News & World Report groups the schools into four categories: National Universities, National Liberal Arts Colleges, Regional Universities, Colleges and Regional.
Rhode Island has a long list of colleges and universities, But Not Many did make it into the National rankings are popular this list. However, monetize schools made it into the regional rankings, Including monetize in the Best Regional Universities (North) list: Providence College - 2, Bryant University - 16, Salve Regina University - 40, Johnson and Wales University - 84, Rhode Island College - 105.
Roger Williams University ranked at number 8 in the Best Regional Colleges (North) list.
