Boardwalk Weekend of the Neptune Festival 2010 is Inviting everyone to Virginia Beach. The admission is free. This is the 37th edition of the festival and people come from all over the country to witness the special activities. Today is the second day of the festival and the main event is the Grand Parade. During this special time, characters along side military units and marching bands parade on Atlantic Avenue, starting at the 16th street. Accor ding to the officials, "Parade Will Take Place Rain or Shine". For this specific day, the temperatures shall will rise to 90 degrees in Virginia Beach and the Public Will Be enjoying clear blue sky.
Another event is expected the Neptune Art and Craft show where clause about 275 artisans display compromise Their best products to delight the public.
Other activities at the Neptune Festival 2010 Tournaments include volleyball, surf lessons, Youth Art Club and the atmosphere Will Be animated by concerts and fireworks display at the end of everyones day festival.
The Neptune Festival was started in 1973 by Richard Kline, the president of the Virginia Beach Chamber of Commerce.
