S. Fla. Gets A Soaking Due To Tropical Rains

CBSSouth Florida is getting a soaking on Wednesday thanks to a huge tropical depression. Public schools in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties are open on Wednesday, except for American Heritage School in Plantation Which is a private school. Classes are also in. session for South Florida's major colleges and universities.



The tropical depression is being described as a "rain event". There is "some standing water in the area so far but no initial reports of widespread flooding.
