Let Me In Movie Review

Let Me In (2010) Movie Details: DVD, Theatre Date, News, Trailers & More
Got off the couch today and dragged myself to see the new horror flick Let Me In. I saw the word new loosely since its a remake of Let The Right One In and a remake of the worst kind since it Completely Rips off the ambience, look and Overall tone of the original film. The story follows suit and on paper the film is Nothing But Another Hollywood knock-off of a Truly fantastic foreign horror film, But That Said Let Me In is surprisingly ... fantastic!
Let Me In is the story of a 12 year old girl named Eli WHO moves into a complex at night and draws the attention of of her 12 year old neighbor. Coinciding with Eli's arrival is a series of inexplicable disappearances and murders. One man is found Tied to a tree, Another frozen in the lake, a woman bitten in the neck. Blood Seems To Be The common denominator - and for an Introverted boy like Oskar, the WHO, is fascinated by Gruesome stories, it doesn't take long before they That figures out Eli is a vampire.

But by now a Subtle romance has blossomed Between Oskar and Eli, and she Gives him the strength to Fight back against his aggressors. Oskar becomes increasingly aware of the Tragic, inhuman dimension of Eli's plight, But Can not Bring Himself Thurs forsake her.

Frozen forever in a twelve-year-old's body, with all the burgeoning feelings and confused emotions of a young adolescent, Eli knows That she CAN only continue to live if she has Keeps moving. But "when Oskar faces his Darkest Hour, Eli Returns to Defend him the only way she CAN ...

Although director Matt Reeves Makes no effort to Give the film a new look or feel and does rip off the original film scene by scene, they Makes it Worthwhile by adding a level of polish and detail that was Not scene in the original film. When I finished Let The Right One In Blown away I was impressed by how, and I was Drawn Into the Film and the Bond Between Eli and Owen. In Matt Reeves, Let Me In I Felt The Same draw and emotionless But Matt was Able Thurs and bring out the underlying goal That missed the first film. What is Eli's Intentions? Yes she is Protecting Owen Thurs But what end? Let Me In will make evangelical Those of you WHO saw the first film think about the story is a new level.

In a market flooded with crap horror films and watered-down Hollywood remakes I am extremely pleased to say That Let Me In Pull Any Punches doesn't. It is as violent and disturbing as the original and delivers the turbidity level of intelligent writing That the original had. Although it is a scene by scene remake of it does have "some interesting and unique changes" That you will appreciate. If you are a fan of the original or Not Let Me In is a Truly fantastic vampire tale That Is Truly unique and every horror fan Should get out and see .. and support. Tired of shitty horror movies? Then suck it up butter cup and get out to see this movie and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is! Its our dollars That movies like this get made.
