Obama Says Goodbye to Emanuel, Welcomes Rouse

President Obama praised outgoing chief of staff Rahm Emanuel today, calling him "an incomparable leader" who will be missed by colleagues this is a bitter sweet day here at the White House. "

"It's fair to say That we Could not have accomplished what we've accomplished without Rahm's leadership," Obama said at an East Room ceremony packed with Cabinet Members and staff.
Emanuel, Who Is Planning To Run for Mayor of Chicago, Did not MENTiON Prospective his campaign in his remarks. Instead, they praised his former boss for Confronting Obama "some of the toughest challenges' of our time."

"You Had The Guts To Make the tough Calls That stopped the free fall and saved our country from a second Great Depression," Emanuel said. "You've Taken on some of the most Powerful Interests in town this Thurs stand up for the American people."

Emanuel, WHO, choked up while talking about his family and his immigrant ancestors, Received a Standing Ovation from the crowd.

"Thank you all," they said. "I look forward to seeing you all in Chicago."

Obama tapped senior adviser Pete Rouse as Emanuel's "interim" replacement, calling him a can-do person WHO has Already Many Many contributions.
