Petrol Price Increased by Rs 5.97 Per Litre

* New petrol price is Rs 72.96 Fri liter, HOBC Rs 86.67, HSD Rs 78.33, light diesel oil Rs 66.61

Islamabad: The government on Sunday Increased the price of petrol by Rs 5.97 Fri liter in line with Increase in Global Oil Prices, Effective from November 1 (today).

According to a notification of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has Been Increased by Rs 5.97 Fri liter, HOBC Rs 7.11 Fri liter, high-speed diesel (HSD) of Rs 4.51 Fri liter, light diesel oil Rs Fri 4.27 liter, KEROSENE oil Rs 5.15 liter Fri, JP1 (local) Rs 4.61 liter Fri, JP4 Fri Rs 5.29 liter and JP8 Rs 4.61 liter Fri.

The new price of petrol is Rs 72.96 Fri liter, HOBC Rs 86.67 Fri liter, HSD Rs 78.33 Fri liter, light diesel oil Rs 66.61 Fri liter, KEROSENE oil Rs 70.95 Fri liter, JP1 (local) Rs 60.26 Fri liter, JP4 Rs 57.45 Fri liter and JP8 Rs 59.96 Fri liter.

Addressing a press conference, a Spokesman for OGRA, Syed Jawad Naseem, Said That The Reason Behind the Recent Increase in Petroleum products was the price Hike in the international market.

After Changing the Prices, the government Would continue charging Rs 10 per liter petrol disc is petrol, Rs 8 Fri liter is a high-speed diesel, Rs 14 per liter is HOBC, Rs 3 per liter is a light diesel oil and Rs 6 per liter is KEROSENE oil.
