TSSAA Releases State Football Brackets

TSSAA released the state football brackets on Saturday morning. (Www.tssaa.org)

Copper Basin, Boyd-Buchanan, Polk County, Bledsoe County, Red Bank, Bradley Central and Soddy-Daisy will host games on Friday.

Baylor and Signal Mountain recieve first round byes.

Polk County will host Tyner in an interesting match-up of two local teams.

Bledsoe County will host Sequatchie County Another area in the game.

If McCallie wins Their game at Briar Crest They Would Meet up with Baylor in the second round.

Division II Blue Cross Bowl state championship games are Thurs begin on December 2 at 3:30 pm (CT) (Class A) and 7:00 p.m. (CT) (Class AA) at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN.

Division I Blue Cross Bowl, Class 1A, 3A, and 5A championship games are to Start at 12:00 pm (CT), 3:30 p.m. (CT) and 7:00 p.m. (CT), respectively on December 3 Kickoff for the Class 2A championship game is 12:00 pm (CT) Followed by the 4A game at 3:30 p.m. (CT) and 6A game at 7 p.m. (CST) on December 4 at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN.
