Comet Hartley 2 Images From NASA’s APOXI Mission

NASA's mission APOXI Flew past the comet Hartley 2 EARLIER today. The spacecraft has Already Sent Back That Many images are being viewed by Scientists and mission controllers.
The epoxy mission Flew Within about 435 miles (700 kilometers) of the comet at about 10 am (1400 GMT) on Thursday. Images started returning Within One Hour.
Epoxy principal investigator Michael A'Hearn said "We are all holding our breath to see what discoveries await us in the observations near Closest Approach."
Tim Larson, Epoxy [Extra Solar Planet Observation and Deep Impact Extended Investigation] project manager at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, California said: "The mission team and Scientists have worked hard for this day. It's good to see Hartley 2 Up Close. "
