Very few laptops are there in the market That look as nice and PERFORM as good as the HP Envy series. HOWEVER, since ITS debut in October last year the Envy series has not really managed Thurs shadow over Other contenders from the stables of the Dell and Acer. The 13 and 15 in. models did Suffer from "some small glitches like average battery performance and inadequate cooling. It looks like HP is heading is Establishing the Envy line as a flagship offering and That explains why it has launched the new Envy 14 with added Oomph and features. Of course, premium quality laptops do come at a price and the HP Envy Is Not an exception. ITS base configuration at the Envy 14 costs about $ 999

The configuration is very impressive in the new HP Envy and 14 except the very Demanding users, Others Will Be More Than Satisfied with it. It has a Powerful Core i3 That 370M CPU runs at 2.4 GHz. The 320 GB hard drive is decent and the 4GB of RAM Almost Makes it future proof. One can go for the Faster i5 Core CPUs. The model has also Life The Mighty ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 GPU That enables one to play the latest games at mid resolution. This is not a gaming laptop Bout CAN run most of the games without Hiccup. The slot loading DVD RW is Somewhat inadequate as a Blu ray drive Would Have Been ideal.

The HP Envy 14 Also Feels and looks great. The only drawback is the COMMISSION of the much touted USB 3 standard Which was Present in the ITS predecessors.
