Afterward, Shannon said they was just Bosher Trying To Get Closer to his range. `` We knew we were going to get one more shot at it,''Shannon said. `` It was a 50 -, 52-yard field goal. We Were Trying to get maybe 5 or 6 yards, something like that, and make it a 40-something-yard field goal.''
Why not run it? `` Our run game was not very good [Saturday],''Shannon said. `` You take Storm Johnson's long run away from That game, and we Did not do much in the run game. So You Have to take your chances with dinking and dunking to the receiver coming across the middle.''
Had UM run the ball, gained nothing and called the timeout, Bosher Would've Had a shot at A48-yard field goal. This season, Bosher is only 1 of 4 from 39 yards or longer. The kick made a season-long, 51-yard field goal at Ohio State.
