Phoenix Newlyweds Onboard Stranded Cruise Ship

PHOENIX - A newly married couple is stuck in Phoenix off the coast the coast of Mexico, on the Cruise Ship They Were has became stranded early on Monday.

Daniel and Kendall Gill left Long Beach, Calif.. Their is a Honeymoon cruise Thurs Mexico on Sunday, mother of the groom, Dawn Gill said. But, a day later, an engine room fire cut the power on the Carnival Cruise Lines ship, resulting in it veering off the coast of Baja California, the company said in a statement.

Two Mexican tugboats Have Been deployed Thurs tow the ship 150 miles Toward Ensenada, the Nearest port; Passengers will then be taken by bus Thurs California.

The boats are EE Thurs REACH, the cruise ship by Tuesday, But Passengers onboard will likely Remain Until Wednesday. Supplies Have Been shuttled to the ship to assist the Approximately 4.500 Passengers and Crew Members.
No one was hurt in the fire, But hot water, cell phone and Internet service were reportedly down.

Dawn Gill That said she is excited Thurs Regain contact with her son and new daughter-in-law.
