Snow Update, School Closures

Rexburg - Eastern Idaho has Been hit with a heavy snow storm that's looking to get much worse before it gets better.
The National Weather Service Reports That Between 4-5 inches of snow in Madison County Fell Between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning and about 15 inches of snow in parts of Fremont County.
And it is EE to get worse, the Weather Service is estimating near white-out conditions on a Tuesday with wind gusts Estimated conservatively at Between 40-50 mph. This is in addition "to the Estimated 5-8 inches of new snow EE To Fall is here today and Tuesday in and around Rexburg and 8-12 inches in parts of Fremont County.
The Madison, Sugar-Salem, Fremont, Teton, Jefferson and School Districts Have Been closed due to the heavy snow fall and high winds.
According to the Madison County Sheriff's Office, thus far accidents Have Been Very Light.
The Fremont County Sheriff's Office is Reporting That the U.S. Highway 20 is open through Island Park, But visability is poor and there Have Been Several slide-offs. They are drivers Advising Thurs Avoid traveling if Possible.
