January 16, 2011, (Sawf News) - Miss Nebraska Teresa Scanlan was crowned Miss America 2011 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas is on Saturday, January 15
Born on February 6, 1993, Scanlan is the youngest Pageant winner! EARLIER, she became the youngest ever Miss Nebraska on June 5, 2010.
A resident of Gering, Nebraska, Scanlan Graduated early from Scottsbluff High School in the spring of 2010, after double-taking classes.
Currently she is on a year long Sabbatical from her studies Thurs Fulfill Duties her as Miss Nebraska.

Scanlan Wants To attend Law School and Become a judge and Eventually a Politician.
Her platform issue is Eating Disorders: A Generation at Risk. She was alerted to the problem on a friend Developed eating disorder. She researched the subject and realized the problem was Rampant. She Works Closely with the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders.
