Not your normal Dr. Seuss: Seussical

Drummond - Drummond Can School Drama Director Kay Rowe High School Seniors get excited about playing Dr. Seuss Characters? She CAN "when the play is Seussical.

Seussical is this year's spring presentation by Drummond elementary, middle and high school students. It is a full-length musical Weaving Together Dr. Seuss's most famous tales and Characters in Some Unexpected Ways. The musical combines Horton Hears a Who with Horton hatches an Egg and throws in The Cat in the Hat for "some delightful mischief. Rowe said she chose Seussical Specifically for the Seniors.

"The reason I chose Seussical is, it has a lot of good female parts and we have good female Seniors Who Are Very Strong," she said. "This will be the public's last chance to see These Seniors PERFORM."

The Seniors include Sidney Reynolds as the Sour Kangaroo, Stephen Neff as Horton, Brandon Boswell as The Cat in the Hat, Kelsey as Mrs. Kinderman. Mayor of Whoville, Ari Pajtash as a Bird Girl, and Christina Newby as Mayzie.
