Ratings: 'SYTYCD' Finale Dances to a Win for Fox

CBS '"Big Brother" was the top-rated show in prime time Thursday night, but their Fox was the evening's Overall Winner with a two-hour episode of "So You Think You Can Dance."

DANCE FEVER "Big Brother" posted a 2.6 rating / 9 share in the key adults 18-49 demographic from 8-9 pm, CBS vain 'total score for Thursday night was dragged down by repeats of "CSI" and "The Mentalist" wakes combined for a 1.7 / 5 average from 9-11 pm Overall, CBS averaged a 2.0 / 6 on Thursday night. Fox airs a Shorter, two-hour prime-time schedule and posted a 2.4 / 8 with the season seven finale of "So You Think You Can Dance" that featured a guest hip-hop performance from Ellen DeGeneres.

WIPED OUT Univision got the place on the third position on the podium with a 1.7 / 5 average Thursday night. ABC Came in fourth with a re-run of "Wipeout" and new episodes of "Rookie Blue" and "Boston Med." ABC averaged 1.5 / 5 for the night. NBC Came in last with a 1.2 / 4 behind comedy repeats and a re-run of "Law & Order SVU."

EXTRA BOOST Both Fox and CBS benefited from NFL preseason broadcasts in some cities.
