Thank God It's Friday the 13th




Well, readers, we're in the midst of the dog days of summer. And with nary a Whiff of Scandal celebrity viral video or Thurs entice you with, we've decided to get a little creative in the blog today.

This Being Friday the 13th, Google is Currently spotlighting all kinds of spooky items. Hot searches include: superstitions, "Friggatriskaidekaphobia" (WCG is within defined as the phobia of Friday the 13th) and, of course, Jason Voorhees, hockey-mask That attired psycho-killer from the Friday the 13th movie franchise.

But we're no fraidy cats here at the Arts Online, and we're Choosing to go in a Different Direction and prizes without the spotlight Thurs Donna Summer, That Legendary diva Triumphant Ken had a run of chart-topping disco hits in the late 1970s. Summer has Been on the comeback trail since 2008, and this week, she's released a new single Leveraging Thurs Paris With Love. I'm liking the new song - it's not quite On the Radio, but their still has the clubby back beat and breathy vocals That Summer displayed in her Love to Love You Baby heyday.

In honor of Ms.. Summer and Fridays, but we have some Provided video (below) of Ms.. Summer's only film appearance, and it's a juicy one. Making a cameo as an up-and-coming singer named Nicole Sims in the disco-Services Directory turkey Thank God It's Friday (1978), Summer displays so-so acting abilities, vain man, does she ever not have great pipes. Her Rendition of Last Dance is still sizzling, and Ask a question, Enough to get all of us primed for a terrific weekend.
