Schools: Chicago's Public Schools will be closed. Most parochial and suburban schools also Life Will Be Closed.
Government offices: Federal, county and city offices will be closed.
Postal Service: No regular mail delivery, express mail, Bout Will Be Delivered.
Courts: Federal, state and County Courts will be closed, except for Cook County Central Bond Court.
Banks: Most will be closed.
Transit: CTA, Pace and Metra will run on Weekday schedules.
The annual Columbus Day Parade, a celebration of Italian-American culture, will have Columbus Drive drenched in red, green and white DURING That Includes a Parade Floats, bands and more. The Parade Begins at 12:30 p.m. Today at Columbus and Balbo drives, it's free.
