Deputies "Trick-or-Treat" at sex offenders homes

Little ones dressed in costumes to hit the streets Saturday night for Columbus' Neighborhood "Trick-or-Treat." But They Were Not The Only Ones. Deputies from the Muscogee County Sheriff's Offices Also Hit the Roads checking is a Registered Sex Offenders. "It's Just Another Initiative, we take part in to make grieving children are safe is a holiday like Halloween," said Deputy Mark Cameron.

Muscogee County has 131 Registered Sex Offenders and deputies Went door to door to make Sure They Were Not Breaking Any Laws. Another 100 Registered Sex Offenders HAD to check in. With Their parole officers during Easy Trick-or-treat hours Which were from 6-8pm on Saturday night. Afterwards, deputies say They are not allowed leave Their house Thurs Until 5:30 am Sunday morning. "It's reassuring to Know That your kids are safe Because You Do not Know Who People Are These Days," one mother said Smith.
All Registered Sex Offenders Can be found in local magazines, online, and at the Muscogee County Sheriffs Office.
