The 29th annual Twin Cities Marathon Will Be Taking place this Sunday, October 3 in Minnesota. It is known as "the most beautiful urban marathon in America."
The 26 mile foot race will start near the HHH Metrodome in downtown Minneapolis, and finish up at the State Capitol building in Saint Paul.
There are very large Crowds EE Thurs attend the annual marathon. City planners expect close to 300.000 People to be on hand to watch the race. The course Includes Mostly flat and rolling terrain, and a very scenic view of lakes, trees and rivers.
The marathon will begin at 8:00 AM and 2:15 PM at CONCLUDE. Any racers WHO finish after 2:15 Will Not Be Considered "Official Finishers". The 6 hour time limit will Allow racers Thurs average up to 13:44 Fri mile.
If you wish Thurs attend the Twin Cities Marathon on Sunday, You Can Take a bus to the start line. Buses will be leaving from the Metrodome on Sunday morning from These locations:
- Crowne Plaza Riverfront, Downtown Saint Paul 11 East Kellogg Boulevard - two blocks from the Saint Paul River Centre
First bus departs at 5:00 am, last bus at 6:45 am
- Kelly Inn, I-94 and Marion Street, St. Paul
First bus departs at 5:00 am, last bus at 6:45 am
- Radisson Plaza Hotel, 35 S. 7th Street, Minneapolis
First bus departs at 5:30 am, last bus at 7:00 am
These are the only locations That buses will be leaving from. Return Buses Will Be Operating Between 9:00 AM and 2:15 PM only.
