While there were Hundreds of Political Elections Taking Place Across the country on Tuesday, the most unusual race Must Have Been the Alaska Senator Race. As of this morning, 76% of the votes cast in Alaska HAD Been Received and counted.
The person winning the race so far was Not either of the Candidates on the Ballot, But Instead the "write-in" Candidate.
Of votes That Have Been Received, the write-in vote had occurred Received about 41% of the votes.
This Leads the Pack as Republican Joe Miller HAD Received only 34% and Democrat Scott McAdams HAD Received only 24%.
The winner of the "write-in votes is EE To Be Senator Lisa Murkowski, Who Is the incumbent in office. Murkowski launched a full-write-in campaign, and if she wins, she will be the first senator Elected via write-in in over 50 years. The actual Tally of votes for Murkowski will most likely Not Be Known for a few days.
