William says, "It was about three weeks ago on holiday in Kenya. We had Been talking about marriage for a while so it wasn'ta massively big surprise. I'm guessing her up somewhere nice in Kenya and I Proposed. "
Kate, on the other hand, did think it was a complete surprise: "It was very romantic. There's a true romantic in there. I Did not really expect it. It was a total shock ... and very exciting. "
