(Media-Newswire.com) - A Notre Dame press conference regarding Brian Kelly being hired as the new head coach of the Fighting Irish football team.

Kelly is the former coach of the University of Cincinnati College Football team. For the last two years the team made appearances in the BCS bowl. Last year, the team had a perfect 12-win season and no loss.

Kelly is the 29th head coach at the famed Fighting Irish college and was hired after the firing of Charlie Weis.

Kelly has been coaching for 19 seasons.
