Today is National Penguin Awareness Day, and National Cheese Day 2010, it's January 20th again, and it's our little flipper friends' day to get some awareness, aside from some little ritual that's event on the East Coast.
Some facts on this day, a penguin colony become a source of heat in cold weather, the colony provides protection from predators.
The young penguin in a colony form a nursery, leaving both parents free to fish together.
Besides, make sure to take some time today to learn or do a little relating to penguins, whether, it be learning further about them, either visiting them at the zoo, or reading books about them remarkable.
At the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo are in West Orange, they have four new penguins in this special day, since summer 2008, the zoo's penguins have been in their new dwelling in a show Renovate, Which replicates the South African seashore where these birds mostly found in the wild. More Read
