Canadians Killed in Manila Hostage-Taking: Reports

Two of the nine people killed in a Hostage-taking, aboard a tour bus in the Philippines on Monday were sisters from Canada, Hong Kong media Reported Tuesday.

Jessica Leung, 14, and Doris Leung, 21, were killed in gunfire During the Hostage-Taking, Their mother Told Hong Kong Cable Television. The two, Ken were students in Canada, were traveling in the Philippines as Canadian Citizens, she said.

Tour Organizers had earlier Said That five of the people Involved in the Hostage-taking, were pass Carrying Canadian ports.

Canada's Foreign Affairs Department Said Canadian Citizens May Have Been on the bus, And that the Canadian mission in Manila was working closely with Local Authorities to get more information.
