Emmys 2010: Neil Patrick Harris, Betty White Early Winners

Betty White and Neil Patrick Harris were the stars of the night at the Creative Arts Emmys 2010. Both veteran stars earned their Emmys for their unique talents. Betty White was declared the winner for her super hilarious Facebook-generated SNL hosting stint while Neil Patrick Harris won two Emmys – for his singing and dancing.
The Creative Arts Emmy 2010 ceremony was held at Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Betty White was not present in the audience to receive her award.
Presenter Clyde Phillips and John Lithgow took the award on her behalf. Betty White, 88, was honored with Emmys for her SNL hosting stint but her Snickers Ad was also nominated for the highest honor of television.

37-year-old Neil Patrick Harris won two Emmys – one for his hosting stint at Tony Awards and one for his guest appearance at Glee. While accepting his Emmys, a very happy Harris shouted out a thanks to Chris Boomer of LA Times who pointed out in one of his columns that Neil Patrick Harris is missing from the nominees of Best special class category.
Neil Patrick Harris is also nominated for the best supporting actor category at the Primetime Emmy Awards 2010 which will be presented next Sunday.
On Saturday’s Creative Arts Emmy 2010, other winners included Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, Jeff Probst, and Ann-Margret. Advertising firm ‘Weiden+Kennedy’ also nabbed a Creative Arts Emmy for the Old Spice advertisement.
