Facebook’s New “Places” Service Introduces Location-Specific Functionality

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, has just announced That the company has added a new feature Thurs Their service, called the Facebook Places. According to Zuckerberg, this is the company's first Attempt Entering into the field of location-based services.

The service is aimed at smartphone users, and it's based on the functionality of Various Pre-Existing services like Foursquare, yelp and others. The service has Been Designed with monetize goals in mind, the primary one Being Thurs including allow people to share Their current location Thurs Their social network, as well as see wakes of Their friends are in Their vicinity. You Could Also use the app to discover new interesting places through your friends' profiles.
