Hurricane Earl: Tropical Storm Earl Gets Hurricane Status

Hurricane Earl in 2010 has went west in the direction of the northern Leeward Islands, says the National Hurricane Center, the organization in the hurricane tracker.
Tropical storm Earl now has a Category 1 hurricane status on the Saffir-Simpson scale.

St. Kitts and Nevis
St. Martin / Maarten
Also, there is a hurricane watch in place for Puerto Rico, as well as the Virgin Islands (British and U.S.).
