Meteor Shower August 2010 Photos Hit Internet!

The 2010 meteor shower peaked last night, lighting up the skies and putting on a show for anxious Viewers. While the clouds hid the spectacular event from Being visible in some areas of European, there are Many photos and videos hitting the Internet this morning That show clear shots of the Falling stars.

The Perseid meteor shower happens once a year, every August, and is one of the most anticipated events for astronomers and astronomy-lovers. Last year over 200 meteorites Fell in an hour, the moon blocked Planet Many from Being visible. This year, the full moon appears on Monday, Meaning there was a clear shot for Many Viewers.
