Roy Set to Become Youngest MP

ABC election analyst Antony Green says Australia's second youngest Candidate, the Liberal National Party's 20-year-old Wyatt Roy, is on track to win the seat of Longman, north of Brisbane. 

It is the first time Mr Roy has voted Even in a federal election. 

Labor's Jon Sullivan won Longman in 2007, an electorate Covering Areas Between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. 

Said Green at 7:50 pm (AEST), Mr Roy was polling extremely well in Longman, with a swing of 6 per cent. 

Mr. Roy has been thanked at his team for Their support. 

"I do not think I was ever the Perceived as the likeliest candidate targets," he said. 

"We've face a lot of adversity here in Longman and I'm very proud of the local team." 

Radio gaffe 

But yesterday Mr. Sullivan had Thurs publicly apologise to a man they criticised During an ABC Brisbane live radio forum.

It bothered the LNP campaigner chase on the Volunteer and strike him before Being Pulled away by a female colleague. 

But ALP state secretary Anthony Chisholm Said earlier this week it was an unprovoked attack. 

"Labor Party campaign workers were under-taking legitimate campaign practice," he said. 

"Mr Roy campaigner's just lost the plot and attacked the Labor Party campaigners That were there. 

"Concerning The thing about this well that Mr. Roy Stood by and watched."
