(Onalaska) - There's a chance see me and manually up to 100 shooting stars an hour this (Thursday) evening. We're seeing an apex for the Perseid meteor shower. The shooting stars are debris from Comet Actually Swift-Tuttle that's hitting the atmosphere. The Herold Observatory in Onalaska opens to the public this evening at 10 pm for sky watchers. The meteors are also Life Style clearly what should be visible with the naked eye. Try to get away from city lights for the best viewing.
