Chelsea Handler: VMA Host, Critics Unimpressed!

The Chelsea Handler, VMA host, opening skit was just short of Being the most annoying part of the VMA's event last night in Los Angeles. The fact is that some Critics are Saying Handler That was the worst VMA's host in the event's history. What do you think? Is that a little harsh?

If you are a fan of the usually always funny Handler is her television show, you May or May Not Have Been a tad disappointed in her VMA's performance last night.

The NY Times is citing Handler as "Among the worst [hosts] in the show's history." The newspaper adds, "Here, she never looked comfortable, Undone by Nerves, Brittle material, and the wattage of hmmmm around her." In addition " she was "purposefully out-of-touch, with brief, alarming flashes of off-color Racial humor."

The Washington Post critiqued Handler's opening skit as being "a string of flat punch lines That give me a few degrees below crass."

The only qualm I have about Griffin as host is lame her infatuation with Levi Johnston.
