Google posted a redesigned logo today is the ITS homepage, Offering a fun bit of Interactivity as you roll your mouse over the image.

The search giant is no stranger Thurs switching up ITS logo Thurs temporarily mark a holiday or famous day in history. It's not immediately clear what this logo, made up of monetize bouncing balls, is meant Thurs signify, though.

Usually the Google Doodles are clickable, Offering a Google query clue to the genesis of the idea.

The one clue I could find was this morning in the Wikipedia entry for the bouncing ball. According to the site, the bouncing ball "was introduced in September 1925 with the film 'My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean." That would make the bouncing ball 85 years old this month.

Think that's it?
