Yom Kippur, also known as the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. Yom Kippur is all about repentance and Atonement, it is a 25-hour period of Fasting and prayer. Many of the Jews spent Yom Kippur in synagogue services Praying. This holy day ends the annual period of the High Holy Days (or "The Days of Awe").
All Jewish people celebrate Yom Kippur in the tenth day of the month of Tishrei, "when God inscribes the fate for EACH person in the Book of Life is a Rosh Hashanah, and Waits UNTIL Yom Kippur to" seal "the verdict.
