2.5 Million southern Californians Expected To Travel For Labor Day Weekend

Some 2.5 million Southern Californians will travel over Labor Day weekend, According to Estimates from the Automobile Club of Southern California.

More than 90% of Them will be driving Thurs Their destinations, the AAA said.

With That in Mind, Many police agencies will be running DUI check points over the holiday weekend.

"Alcohol-related crashes in California Slightly not have declined in the last couple of years, but their there were still 21.000 Nearly fatal and injury crashes involving alcohol in 2008 - more than just 57 EACH day," Alice Bisno, a spokeswoman for the Auto Club, Said in a statement.

"Do not drink and drive. Also, watch out for impaired drivers, Avoid Them If possible, call 911 and report Thurs Them if is safe for you you do so. "
