Fox-Cablevision Dispute Means NLCS Game 1 Not Airing In Philly-NY

A Carriage Dispute Between News Corp's Fox and Cablevision had occurred FOX Pulls Several of the ITS Cablevision channels off late last night, and now it Appears That No Deal Will Be In Place Any time tonight. That MEANS That Cablevision Customers in Philadelphia and New York Will Not see Game1 of the NLCS Between the Giants and Philles. The blacked-out channels are FOX Fox 5 (WNYW) in New York and FOX 29 (WTXF) in Philadelphia. My9 (WWOR) is Fox's 2nd New York station (a MyNetworkTV affiliate Licensed to Secaucus, NJ) Also blacked out, But it Does not Affect the MLB or NFL coverage situation .. NFL games nudged Also in danger of Not airing on Sunday.
"It is shameful for News Corp.-to-use in Major League Baseball and NFL games Thurs hold Viewers Hostage in Order to extract TENS of millions from Cablevision Customers," said Charles Schueler, Cablevision's executive vice president of communications.
