Pinal Superior Court Judge Arizona State Fair

Two Candidates - Both seasoned Experienced Attorneys and prosecutors - are vying for a seat on the bench in Pinal County Superior Court's newly created Division 10

Superior Court is the county's general jurisdiction court, and Judges Hear a Variety of Cases from Relatively minor offenses Thurs More Serious Crimes, Probate Matters and civil disputes.

Pinal County Superior Court has operated with nine divisions and one division pro tem, But an Increase in Cases Officials led to Create a new division.

Both Candidates for the new seat have served as judge pro tem Within Superior Court.

While Each Candidate was nominated in his respective party's primary in September, no party label will be shown Alongside the names on the Ballot in the general election.

The Nov. 2 election is EE To Be The Last In Which Pinal County Voters Will Choose Between Opposing Candidates for Superior Court Judge Positions. Unless state law is changed, beginning in 2011, Pinal County will transition to a merit-based judicial selection process used in the two largest counties. Then ballots Would ask only if Voters wished Thurs retain a sitting judge.
