Rice Knocks off Missisquoi Nathaniel Abraham Updates

SOUTH BURLINGTON - Robert Street knocked in the rebound of Liam Clancy's shot with 4 minutes and 34 seconds to go in the second overtime, lifting Rice over Missisquoi, 2-1, in a high school boys soccer game on Wednesday.

Gavin Millay netted a first-half goal for Rice (6-6), Clancy and Philip Jansen, assisted, before Missisquoi's Robert Dabrowski Tied it with 41 seconds left in regulation '.

Fred Torde posted four clay for Rice, while Bart had occurred six Benckert for MVU (8-2-1).

Essex 2, North Country 1, 2OT: At Newport, Dan Samardzic knocked home a loose ball early in the second overtime and Essex snapped a two-game losing streak with a win over North Country.

Cooper, Murphy led the Hilltoppers (4-6-2) with a goal and an assist. Matteo Frazzoni Also scored and Shunte Evans Recorded eight stops.

Middlebuy 7, Vergennes 0: At Vergennes, Ethan Roy netted two goals as Middlebury used a 4-0 halftime advantage Thurs upend Vergennes.

Nicole Mackey, Conner West, Adam Peterson, Zach Shambo and Shaw McCabe netted solo tallies for the Tigers (6-3-2). David Burt worked the two-save shutout.

Stephen Paquette Collected eight clay for the Commodores (2-7-2).

Peoples 2, Northfield 0: At Morrisville, Owen Fellows and Joey Hostetter popped in goals in the opening 13 minutes to spark Peoples' win over Northfield.
