St. Louis Mardi Gras honors "American Treasures"

(KMOV) - St. Louis is Celebrating Mardi Gras with the 32nd River City Grand Parade honoring America's greatest treasures.
The Parade Begins at 11 a.m. at the River City Parade staging lot at 7th and Cerre Street, just south of Busch Stadium.
The parade travels south through the 7th and the city's historic Soulard neighborhood.

More than 100 Floats, bands, lawn-chair brigades and Other entries will fill the 2011 Grand Parade on Saturday honoring all American treasures. Some float themes Including Fort Knox, American Bandstand, Mickey Mouse, Fast Food, Las Vegas, Drive-In Theaters, Mark Twain, and of course, the Gateway Arch.
The parade will Also be honoring Veterans from every branch of service. These Veterans have served the United States in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan.
