Peshawar, (SANA): At Least 36 People Have Been Killed and More Than 50 Injured in a bomb explosion at a funeral prayer of peace Jirga leader's wife in Adezai's area of Matni near Peshawar on Saturday.
Meanwhile the Tehreek-e-Taliban has claimed the Responsibility of the suicide attack.
DCO Peshawar Siraj Ahmed CONFIRMED That it was a suicide attack, adding That Could Increase Death Toll Due to Serious Injuries. DCO said That the Panic and fear prevailed in the area after the explosion. Siraj Ahmed Told That The Media Police cordoned off the area and started a search operation after the attack.
According to the police, The Suicide Bomber Targeted a Funeral Procession of a wife of Hakeem Khan, a chief of the Local Peace Committee, in Adezai area of Matani, Peshawar. A suicide bomber is Responsible for the attack as they Came to the gathering and Blew Himself police added.
