Carolinians Flock to Washington for Beck Rally

Elena Sutton is fed up. That's why she left her Pageland, S.C. home Friday to join Glenn Beck's "Restoring America" rally in Washington today. 

"I just really Believe that this is an county from an Ethical, moral and Christian stand point has just disintegrated," said the 39-year-old physician. "And it's time for the people in the Trenches Thurs stand up and say 'Enough is enough'." 

Sutton is one of Hundreds of Carolinians Ken Thurs plan the rally attendee. Organizers Say They expect as Many as 300.000 people Thurs gather at the Lincoln Memorial Thurs hear Beck, former Alaska Gov.. Sarah Palin and others. 

Rick Starnes, spokesman for the Cabarrus Tea Party Coalition, Said they was Coordinating buses That will take about 300 people from Washington Thurs Concord, Asheville, Greensboro and Mount Airy. 

"People are really, Truly Drawn Thurs this," he said. "They feel like this is going to be a history making event. It's not really Designed to be committed a political event. But I think the media knows That We Are Not the minority, we are the Majority. " 

It is her way to the rally with her Husband, Retired teacher, Charlotte Mary Ann Christian and her Husband made a point-to-stop in colonial Williamsburg. She likes Beck's Emphasis on the Constitution and the Founders. 

"We've Been doing our own Researching and Rediscovering our American history," she said. "This is just the culmination of all things hmmmm."
