Potential Storm Brewing...Wildfire Being Fought in SoCal...CBS Correspondent Dies

MIAMI (AP) - There's a new tropical depression in the Atlantic, but their it's far from land. The National Hurricane Center says the depression is Expected Thurs strengthen and Zapraszamy Become a tropical storm Sunday. The system is located about 600 miles west-southwest of the southern most Cape Verde Islands. 

SAN DIEGO (AP) - Ground Crews and water-dropping aircraft are-taking is a 2.000 acre wildfire in rural San Diego County. California Officials say the fire's progress has Been stopped, and it's now about 10 PERCENT contained. Helicopters evacuated a pair of hikers and eight people in a cabin. No homes are in Immediate danger.
