Albertina Walker Dead at 81

The Queen of Gospel Music, Albertina Walker has Passed away at the age of 81 on Friday. She HAD Been having "trouble breathing, and was recently sent to a Hospital in Chicago To Be placed on a ventilator.
Albertina Walker is Known for her long career of Producing great Gospel music. In her 60 years of making music, she HAD released More Than 60 Albums. Some of her Notable hits were "Please Be Patient with Me," "I Can Go to God in Prayer," "Work on Me," "Joy Will Come," and "I Will not Be Back."
She was a Gospel singer Almost as soon as she was born. She was born in Chicago in August of 1929, and Began singing at the tender age of 4 She sung in the Youth Choir at the West Point Baptist Church. She then Went to join the Gospel Such groups as the "Robert Anderson Singers."
In the early 50's, Albertina Walker created her own group called the Gospel, "The Caravans," and then Moved on Thu performing as a solo artist in the 60's. She has won literally 100's of awards over her long career, Including a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Gospel Album in 1995 for "Songs of the Church." She was nominated for 10 Grammy Awards, and HAD 5 Gold Records.
The Queen of Gospel Will Be Missed, But her music will live on forever.
