Girl Who Voices Dora Claims Nickelodeon Cheated Her Out of Millions

"Dora the Explorer," star Caitlin Sanchez has filed a lawsuit against Nickelodeon and ITS parent companies, Viacom and MTV Networks, claiming she was cheated out of millions of dollars. In the lawsuit, Sanchez and her parents Claim They had occurred just 22 minutes to review a complicated, 14 page contract That Detailed Sanchez's job and pay.

"I've never seen as convoluted and inscrutable contract as I've seen here," says the Sanchez's lawyer, John Balestrieri.

The Sanchezs Also allege Caitlin, the WHO has Been the voice of Dora since 2008, was Not adequately compensated for Public Appearances Promoting the children's show as well Hundreds of hours of recordings. The suit states Nickelodeon used the 14-year-old "unjustly Enriching themselves of millions of dollars in Profits from the series and Branded Products, Which Caitlin Performed and Promoted."

A rep for Viacom says the lawsuit is "Completely without merit."
